First Presbyterian Church of Matawan, New Jersey

Education is for everyone, from the youngest child to the oldest adult. Our Church School has classes for preschoolers, elementary children, junior and senior high youth, and adults. Our School meets Sunday mornings, from early September to early June from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

All school grades except ninth, have curriculum materials. Ninth grade is special because it is our Confirmation Class. Adult curriculum is planned to meet the needs of members and is normally designed in segments of three to five weeks.

New member seminars are also conducted during the Church School hour for four consecutive Sundays, three times a year.

Nursery care is provided during the Church School hour by our trained church nursery supervisor and a support staff.

Registration takes place throughout the year as parents bring their children and as adults become part of our adult program.
