Haiti Still Needs Earthquake Aid
Haitians helping Haitians passing along much needed supplies
Our hearts go out to the people of Haiti. Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) is working to respond to the aftemath of the magnitude 7.0 earthquake that struck on January 12. Join with Presbyterians in prayer for the survivors and give to the relief effort now. PDA rushed an initial $100,000 from One Great Hour of Sharing and designated funds to help provide immediate emergency relief to the affected people.Individuals may still give through your local congregation, send a check to: Presbyterian Church (USA), PO Box 643700, Pittsburgh, PA 15264-3700. Gift of the Heart Kits needed, check it out. FPC has prepared some of the baby kits to be sent soon.

A Baby Kit consists of the following items:
6 — cloth diapers
2 — T-shirts or undershirts (no onesies)
2 — washcloths
2 — gowns or sleepers
2 — diaper pins
1 — sweater or sweatshirt
2 — receiving blankets (one can be a hand-knitted or crocheted baby blanket)
