Concert Series, plus.....

Supporters are needed for our annual Dixieland Band Concert and ChiliFest, to be held Sunday April 25 at 5 pm. The six members of the Rhythm Kings Dixieland Band have been bringing traditional Dixieland-style jazz from the '20s and '30s to our church for almost two decades. Their performance is filled with spontaneous arrangements, innovative solo playing, audience participation, singing and purely musical antics. The engaging, toe-tapping music appeals to all ages. When the band peforms, folks can't help dancing! The event is held in our Fellowship Hall.

The evening also includes a chili and cornbread supper with salads, desserts and beverages, all included in the low ticket price. Last year, the event was attended by over 120 folks of all ages.

Please help us continue this meaningful tradition. A full-page ad in the program is $50, while a half-page costs $35. Or you can donate, and be recognized in the program: Sponsors give $100; Angels give $50 and Patrons give $25. You can make your check to the church and attach it, and any advertising materials, to the attached form and mail to FPC at 883 Highway 34, Matawan NJ 07747, or place in the offering plate on Sunday morning.

Thank you for supporting this meaningful event! Watch here for other exciting events to come...

Spring CoffeeHouse

FPC has talent! Our spring coffeehouse is coming, and we are hoping to tap into the tremendous variety and talent of our church. If you can sing, dance, recite poetry or stand on your head, and would like a supportive and fun atmosphere in which to perform, please contact Graham McKinley (mckinley@rider.edu). This is an especially nice forum for young people to try their wings. And it's a family event at our church where people can socialize and have fun outside of Sunday worship (don't feel you have to listen to every act!)

Mark your calendars for Friday, May 21, and volunteer to join the funl Let's continue to support this wonderful church family event! The proceeds from this great event will be used to help support Mission Matawan.
