First Presbyterian Church of Matawan, New Jersey

Worship is the heart of our life as a congregation. From September through early June, we worship at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday, as well as on special occasions throughout the year. In the summer, we worship at 9:30 a.m., in our air-conditioned sanctuary.

Services are led by the pastor, and by members and leaders of our congregation. Music leadership each Sunday is provided by our 25-voice Chancel Choir and by various other choral and instrumental groups.

Our worship is grounded in the Reformed tradition, and is enriched by a full and varied music program. We seek to involve all worshipers in praying, singing, growing, and sharing in a spirit of Christian community.

In addition to special services at Christmas and Easter seasons, we gather for afternoon or evening worship on occasions such as Remembrance Sunday.

We welcome warmly all worshipers who join us for any service!
